After working with Lepidoptera for 30 years, and helping people with butterflies through the ButterflyWebSite.com for the last 15 years, we have received countless requests to assist people with taking care of injured butterflies and caterpillars that they have found. So we have decided to put together a network of very dedicated individuals that want to help you help your winged charges.

Our group of butterfly experts loves to help others! That's the bottom line. We care about butterflies and we appreciate your efforts to help them in their time of need. Our panel has a combined history of over 200 years of experience in raising and caring for butterflies and they come from many countries.

The reason for our collective of butterfly experts worldwide is so we can better assist you with your situation. This can be done by actually mailing your found butterfly directly to an expert or receive localized help via email from someone that is accomplished with your localized population.

If you live in the United States it is unlawful to send any butterfly or moth across a state line without the proper permits preapproved by the USDA. So to address this issue we have comprised a list of our friends in as many states as possible. These are associates that will either help you care for your injured butterfly or moth through phone calls, e-mails or even accept it to be treated back to health at their facility. Once it is healthy again it will be released back into nature or allowed hospice in a flight house filled with beautiful flowers and other butterflies while being watched over by a trained professional.
